Content Engineer

About the role

Sent provides a unified API for sending A2P messages across SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS. The Content Engineer sits at the intersection of technical curiosity and creative instinct, building integrations and turning them into compelling marketing content.

Key responsibilities

• Build and experiment with the Sent API, creating side projects, technical examples, and creative integrations.
• Run high‑velocity experiment cycles on LinkedIn, X, newsletters and other channels, forming hypotheses, shipping, measuring results and iterating.
• Own product marketing and brand presence, defining messaging for feature launches, new channels and use cases.
• Develop and maintain a consistent, engaging voice across LinkedIn, X and other distribution channels.
• Instrument top‑of‑funnel metrics, tracking developer acquisition, conversion and pipeline impact.
• Build lightweight tooling such as landing pages, automations and marketing‑stack integrations without waiting on engineering.

Required profile

• 2+ years in marketing, content creation or a similar creative role, preferably at a startup.
• Comfortable building with APIs, reading documentation and shipping functional integrations independently.
• Strong creative instinct with a portfolio that demonstrates audience‑engaging posts, campaigns or projects.
• Experimental mindset: formulate hypotheses, run tests, analyze data honestly and iterate.
