Producing Director - Hybrid

About the role

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Producing Director in Chicago, Illinois, on a permanent basis with a hybrid arrangement. The Producing Director leads, develops and coaches a division of a market team, maintains its own book of business and drives the division's revenue and profitability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop division personnel, including performance improvement and, if necessary, terminations, in person and virtually
• Solicit new business, develop the client base and drive outbound sales to build revenue and gross profit
• Manage division expenses, credit and collections, and oversee pay/bill rate and invoicing to hit target GM%
• Hold daily and weekly staff and training meetings, periodic business reviews and forecast compliance reviews
• Work with other producing directors and market directors to cover all client orders
• Coordinate job and trade shows, interface with the corporate office and lead community and professional organization involvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a business-related field (master's preferred)
• 6 years of experience managing a profit center and 5 years in direct hire or staffing
• Prior successful sales experience
• Proven leadership in office and virtual settings, and ability to handle pressure and crises

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Knowledge of sales and recruiting best practices
• Understanding of federal, state and local employment laws

What we offer

• Base salary of $68,172 - $124,982 plus incentive compensation
