Processing Specialist

About the role

The Processing Specialist acts as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external agencies to manage non‑TIV funding on student accounts. The role supports student success through accurate processing of aid and responsive communication.

Key responsibilities

• Support internal customers and external agencies via email, phone, Salesforce and web conferencing.
• Process Direct Bill, VA, and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
• Perform high‑volume transaction processing, payment posting, account reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
• Maintain accurate student account records and meet processing deadlines and quality standards.
• Contribute ideas to improve workflow efficiency and support process changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible remote environment.
