Executive Director of Enrollment Management

About the role

The Executive Director of Enrollment Management provides strategic and operational leadership for all enrollment functions at Texas A&M University‑Victoria, guiding recruitment, admissions processing, and related technology to meet institutional enrollment goals.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate enrollment processes and the prospective student journey to identify gaps and improve outcomes.
• Use enrollment, recruitment, admissions, and operational data to set priorities and support decision‑making.
• Lead enrollment‑related technology and systems, including CRM, student information, and reporting tools.
• Develop, implement, and assess policies, procedures, workflows, and business practices for enrollment functions.
• Collaborate with university leadership, academic units, system offices, and external stakeholders to coordinate initiatives.
• Oversee fiscal resources for recruitment, marketing, travel, and staffing, monitoring expenditures.
• Represent Enrollment Management in meetings, committees, and community engagements.
• Support the Vice President of Enrollment Management with divisional priorities and special projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred).
• At least ten years of related experience, including progressive responsibility in enrollment management or admissions.
• Proven leadership experience supervising directors, managers, and staff.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to analyze data, identify operational issues, and develop effective solutions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of enrollment management, student recruitment, and admissions practices.
• Familiarity with strategic enrollment planning and operational processes.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, student information, CRM, and reporting technologies.
