Pro Paint Sales Specialist – Colorado Territory

About the role

Join 3M as a Pro Paint Sales Specialist covering Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Montana. You will work directly with retailers, distributors and home‑improvement trades to deliver innovative 3M products and solutions that improve job‑site efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Implement leadership‑driven strategies for new product introductions, promotional programs and territory training.
• Sell 3M product portfolio including abrasives, tapes, masking systems and safety solutions.
• Support retailers, distributors and end‑users with tailored solutions and training to enhance job‑site performance.
• Conduct face‑to‑face presentations, phone calls and email outreach to showcase product value.
• Demonstrate product usage and benefits to customers on‑site.
• Provide on‑call support and travel up to 50% domestically within the assigned territory.
• Utilize a company vehicle for customer visits, subject to motor‑vehicle history review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) completed prior to start.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum three years of territory sales experience in private, public, government or military settings.
• Strong presentation, data‑analysis and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to translate customer needs into creative solutions.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to prioritize multiple customers.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
