Account Manager

About the role

As an Account Manager at Western Agency, you will work directly with producers, account executives and clients to protect businesses and individuals through personal lines insurance. Based in Minot, ND or Aberdeen, SD, you will deliver high‑quality service throughout the policy lifecycle, from quoting to renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Build comprehensive risk profiles and support long‑term coverage strategies.
• Partner with producers on presentations, policy delivery and renewal discussions.
• Manage day‑to‑day servicing of personal lines accounts, including policy changes, billing inquiries, claims assistance, applications and quoting.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and underwriters.
• Review and renew existing coverages to ensure appropriate protection as client needs evolve.
• Issue certificates, binders and evidence of property documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed policy records within the agency management system.
• Proactively address client questions, coverage concerns and service requests to enhance the overall experience.
