PRN RN – Medical Oncology

About the role

The PRN RN will join the 3 Seidman Oncology/Palliative Unit at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital, providing inpatient and observation care for patients receiving cancer treatments. This is a variable, as‑needed position supporting a Magnet‑recognized team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and record patient conditions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and communicate updates to the care team.
• Execute physician and nursing orders and assess discharge needs.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• Two years of recent related nursing experience (or internal candidates post‑orientation).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of a Chemo/Bio course within two years of hire.
• Physical ability to perform patient handling and work under stressful conditions.
