About the role

The PRN RN will provide direct nursing care on the G70 Hematology & Oncology Unit, supporting adult patients receiving chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and radiation treatments. The position works on a day/evening rotation with 12‑hour shifts.

Key responsibilities

Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.
Administer chemotherapy and other cancer therapies, and manage reactions.
Record and communicate patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses.
Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
Assess discharge needs and coordinate patient transition from hospital.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
Current state RN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Two years of recent related nursing experience (external applicants) or internal candidates with post‑orientation approval.
Ability to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.

Required skills

Competence in chemotherapy administration.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Knowledge of radiation therapy safety and precautions.
