About the role
The PRN RN will work in the Coronary Care Unit at Hillcrest Hospital, providing direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with acute cardiac conditions. This position is on an as‑needed basis, requiring 48 hours of work within a six‑week period.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and serve as primary liaison for patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders and assess discharge needs.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Current state RN licensure.
- Two years of recent related nursing experience (external candidates).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
