About the role
The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a PRN Registered Nurse for Chronic Care at Hillcrest Hospital. This position works day shifts, providing direct patient care and supporting the care team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions, and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge needs.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Less than two years of experience (or ICU/ED experience for external applicants) with approval from the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Critical Care Course or validated on‑the‑job training.
Required skills
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 24 months of hire.
