About the role
The PRN RN will provide direct nursing care to children and adolescents in the Children’s Hospital Rehabilitation facility. Working 12‑hour shifts across day, evening, night, weekend and holiday schedules, the RN supports a multidisciplinary team caring for complex medical and rehabilitation needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions; coordinate discharge planning and educate patients and families.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; external candidates need at least two years recent related nursing experience.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year of hire.
