PRN Registered Radiology Technologist

About the role

The PRN Registered Radiology Technologist provides on‑call radiographic services at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital, supporting patient care across variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic examinations while ensuring high‑quality images and patient safety.
• Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS and assist with scheduling, prioritization, and billing of procedures.
• Educate patients about procedures, maintain documentation, and report equipment issues to management and the help desk.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold current state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work PRN, variable shifts, and float to other CCF locations as needed.

Required skills

• Operation of x‑ray equipment and fluoroscopic devices.
• Proficiency with PACS for image acquisition, archiving, and transmission.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning techniques.
