About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation is seeking PRN Registered Nurses to provide 12‑hour shift coverage across day, evening, night and weekend schedules. Nurses will work in a 24‑hour inpatient setting caring for infants, children and adolescents with complex medical and rehabilitation needs.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and document patient conditions.
Implement, monitor, and update patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge planning.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; external candidates need at least two years of recent nursing experience.
Within one year of hire, obtain and maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Competence in medication administration and patient monitoring.
