Private Duty RN/LPN – All Shifts – Part‑Time/Full‑Time

About the role

Journey Nursing Services is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for private‑duty, one‑on‑one care across Western Washington. Positions are available full‑time or part‑time, with flexible day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide skilled, one‑on‑one nursing care in private homes, adult family homes, or assisted‑living communities.
• Perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient status, document in electronic medical records, and report changes promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Current Washington State RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient‑centered approach.
• New graduates are welcome; comprehensive orientation, mentorship, and clinical support are provided.
