Caregiver Training Program (HCA)

About the role

The Caregiver Training Program offers individuals the chance to start a healthcare career while receiving paid, hands‑on experience and industry‑recognized certifications. You will work under the supervision of experienced nurses and caregivers, providing one‑on‑one support to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care, including ADLs such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance.
• Observe and report changes in client condition, maintain accurate documentation, and follow individualized care plans.
• Assist with safe transfers, infection control, skin integrity, and delegated nursing tasks appropriate to your training level.

Required profile

• Eligible to obtain a Washington State Nursing Assistant Registration (NAR) and pass background checks.
• Compassionate, dependable, eager to learn, with strong communication skills and reliable transportation.

Required skills

• CPR/BLS certification
• Basic knowledge of infection prevention and safety procedures
