Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) – All Shifts

About the role

Journey Nursing Services is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for one‑on‑one private duty nursing across Western Washington. Positions are available full‑time or part‑time on day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide skilled one‑on‑one nursing care in private homes, adult family homes, and assisted living communities.
• Perform nursing assessments, implement individualized plans of care, and administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor patient status, document electronic medical records, and report changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary professionals, and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Current Washington State RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification and reliable transportation.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and compassionate, patient‑centered approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
