Private Duty Caregiver for Adults & Seniors

About the role

Join BAYADA as a Private Duty Caregiver providing personal care, household support, and companionship to adults and seniors in their homes. You will follow a written care plan and help clients stay safe, independent, and comfortable.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and give medication reminders.
• Perform range‑of‑motion exercises and assist with ambulation using mechanical lifting devices.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of work experience in caregiving.
• Current HHA certificate (40‑hour course) or CNA license, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Valid BLS CPR certification from a recognized organization.
• Pass a Level II background check as required by Florida law.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
• Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
