Private Client Services Associate (2-4 yrs) – San Jose or Redwood Shores

About the role

Lathrop GPM is seeking a Private Client Services Associate to join its Private Client Services practice in San Jose or Redwood Shores. The associate will work with high‑net‑worth individuals, families, and their advisors on a broad range of estate and wealth matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with gift and estate tax planning, estate and trust administration, charitable planning, and family succession strategies.
• Collaborate with attorneys, accountants, and financial advisors to develop integrated solutions for executives, entrepreneurs, family offices, and privately held businesses.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and related tax filings.
• Support senior lawyers in client meetings, research, and the execution of complex wealth‑preservation projects.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in estate planning or related practice.
• Active California attorney bar license.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal abilities.
