Patent Litigation Associate – IP Litigation

About the role

We are seeking a Patent Prosecution & Litigation Associate to join our IP Litigation team across multiple offices. The successful candidate will handle complex patent disputes, from briefing and motions to trial and PTAB proceedings, while providing strategic guidance to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and argue briefs, motions, and other pleadings in patent litigation matters.
• Conduct depositions, coordinate expert testimony, and manage discovery.
• Lead PTAB proceedings or trial work as required.
• Oversee case management, including docketing, strategy development, and client communication.
• Supervise junior associates and paralegals to ensure efficient case execution.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on IP litigation experience, including briefing, motions, and trial work.
• Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Admission to the USPTO preferred; must be licensed to practice law or able to obtain a license promptly.
• Outstanding written and oral communication abilities and strong analytical skills.
• Proven record of managing cases and supervising junior team members.
