Principal, Offline Acquisition Marketing

About the role

Ethos, a life insurance technology company, is hiring a Principal, Offline Acquisition Marketing on a remote US basis. You will own the performance management, budget and tools for the Streaming TV/OTT marketing program, while also supporting other offline and emerging marketing initiatives. The role sits close to colleagues across multiple teams and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy, execution, performance reporting and optimization of Streaming TV/OTT to drive marketing performance against weekly, monthly and quarterly budgets and goals.
• Partner with internal teams such as Creative, Analytics, MarTech, Product and Finance.
• Improve measurement practices to evaluate incrementality through frequent experimentation.
• Manage external agencies on media buys, negotiations, contracts and reconciliations.
• Evaluate data vendors and tooling to improve targeting, bidding, content-level visibility, attribution and supply-path optimization.
• Present recommendations on new test expansions and operational scaling, such as AI-enabled systems, and share insights with executives.
• Stay current on industry trends, data clean rooms, betas and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven track record in-house at a high-growth direct response B2C start-up; fintech or insuretech preferred.
• Deep knowledge of traditional offline, streaming TV and online video; TV, online video and partnerships experience is ideal.
• At least 5 years managing offline performance marketing campaigns at high-growth companies where user acquisition was critical.
• Ability to work autonomously, learn quickly and communicate with senior leaders.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel and comfort working with AI tools such as Hex, Claude and Gemini.
• Experience with adtech and data teams, and a rigorous approach to testing and iteration.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $127,000 - $223,000; the range covers all US locations and reflects base salary only.
