Principal Medical Science Liaison – Lung Oncology (Texas/New Mexico)

About the role

The Principal Medical Science Liaison (PMSL) will be the senior field‑based scientific expert for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines Oncology products in the Texas/New Mexico territory. You will act as a strategic scientific partner, shaping medical engagement, patient care, and territory strategy through deep knowledge of the evolving oncology landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior scientific authority on current and pipeline oncology products.
• Develop and translate national medical affairs strategy into regional KOL and HCP engagement plans.
• Support the Field Director and act as delegate when required.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with medical thought leaders and healthcare provider teams.
• Provide balanced, objective scientific information and facilitate scientific exchange.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in medical affairs, preferably as a Medical Science Liaison.
• Strong background in oncology, with specific focus on lung cancer.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a multi‑state territory.
• Excellent communication skills for scientific discussions with KOLs and HCPs.
