About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for the 2026‑2027 academic year at Smyrna Elementary School. The position starts at 9:40 am and follows the district’s calendar of 187 instructional days.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and deliver instruction aligned with the approved K‑5 curriculum.
- Monitor, evaluate, and communicate student progress through regular assessments and reports.
- Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with board policies and regulations.
- Supervise students, enforce school rules, and safeguard school property and materials.
Required profile
- Valid Kentucky certification appropriate for the K‑5 grade level.
- Experience and preparation as defined by the Board of Education.
- Accurate completion of the online application experience section; falsification may lead to exclusion or termination.
