Preschool Lead Teacher (9am-6pm)

About the role

Join Cadence Academy Preschool as a Lead Teacher, creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young learners. You will work with a dedicated teaching team to deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum and support each child's growth.

Key responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum with your teaching team.
• Observe and support children’s interests and developmental milestones.
• Communicate effectively with families about their child’s progress.
• Promote positive social behaviors and model respectful interactions.
• Plan a balanced daily schedule with a mix of indoor/outdoor and active/quiet activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Meet state requirements for lead preschool teachers (CDA) or hold a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a preschool lead teacher.
• Strong classroom management skills (preferred).
• Flexibility to work within business hours.
