About the role

Robert Half is hiring a Practice Director for its Technology practice in Washington DC. The role maintains above-average performance metrics, leads business generation, directs and motivates direct reports, takes part in recruiting new hires and communicates effectively across the organisation. The total headcount is up to 4, including the practice director.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue-generating activities and practice group performance, meet productivity standards and manage time and priorities
• Attract, source, train, develop and retain staff, and build a collaborative, inclusive team culture
• Achieve pricing goals and recognise and act on business trends quickly
• Manage change, resolve issues with staff, clients and candidates, and run effective meetings
• Lead customer retention and expansion, and build customer loyalty through superior service
• Meet business generation, revenue and pricing goals based on location

Required profile

• 1+ years of talent solutions and/or management experience, or equivalent
• Proven performance in a talent manager or director role
• Demonstrated success in business generation and business development
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred

Required skills

• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, databases and other technology systems

What we offer

• Salary range of $65,000 to $110,000, negotiable, with eligibility for a bonus
