About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the research labs of Dr. Kewal Asosingh and Dr. Serpil Erzurum. This full‑time, on‑site position provides practical training in inflammation, immunity, and pulmonary research under direct supervision of principal investigators.

Key responsibilities

Design and execute independent research projects, generate and analyze data, and prepare manuscripts for publication.
Maintain laboratory compliance, manage specimens, and operate flow cytometry and related equipment.

Required profile

PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant scientific discipline; MD with extensive lab experience may substitute for PhD.
Demonstrated commitment to research, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

Proficiency with flow cytometry techniques.
Experience in scientific writing and manuscript preparation.
