About the role
The Visual Inspection group within Technical Services & Manufacturing Science is seeking a Post‑Doctoral Associate to advance inspection science for parenteral drug products. You will design experiments, develop detection models, and support both automated and manual inspection strategies in a GMP‑regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, conduct and analyze statistically‑designed experiments such as probability of detection studies and Knapp reject‑zone methodology.
- Develop laboratory‑scale models, defect libraries and AI‑based strategies to optimize detection performance.
- Provide technical support for inspection qualification activities and technology transfer to manufacturing sites or CMOs.
- Document all technical work, mentor lab associates and contribute to cross‑functional teams.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in particle characterization, materials analysis or optical/imaging systems.
- Record of peer‑reviewed publications and conference presentations.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
