PN Instructor – Technical College

About the role

The PN Instructor will deliver theory and practical nursing education to day, evening, and online students at West Georgia Technical College. This full‑time position involves classroom, lab, clinical, and field instruction while ensuring safety and accreditation standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Provide instruction in nursing theory and practice, using current technology and clinical simulations.
• Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and assessment tools aligned with state academic standards.
• Grade coursework promptly and maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Participate in accreditation reporting, professional development, and departmental committees.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Registered Nursing and a valid Georgia RN license.
• Minimum three years of recent nursing experience (within the past seven years).
• Current BLS (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.

Required skills

• Registered Nursing clinical expertise.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Proficiency with online learning platforms and instructional technology.
