About the role

Rainforest is an early‑stage payments‑as‑a‑service startup helping software platforms embed payments. As a Platform Success Manager you will guide clients through integration, optimize their margins and revenue, and advise on go‑to‑market strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Guide platform clients through integration from setup to go‑live.
• Provide best‑practice advice on payment processing, margin optimization, and adoption.
• Partner with clients to define business goals and develop growth strategies.
• Analyze client data to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to ensure client success.
• Monitor and report on client satisfaction, retention, and revenue metrics.

Required profile

• 5+ years in customer success, account management, or related field, preferably in embedded payments.
• Strong understanding of Payment Facilitator models and vertically‑focused platforms.
• Deep knowledge of credit‑card and ACH processing, including interchange drivers.
• Proven track record of growing embedded payments.
• High emotional intelligence and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects.

Required skills

• Expertise in payment facilitator (PayFac) models.
• Knowledge of credit‑card processing, ACH, and interchange mechanisms.
