Planning & Fulfillment Intern - Summer 2027

About the role

ABB is hiring a Planning & Fulfillment Intern for its New Berlin, Wisconsin site during the summer of 2027. The position reports to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager and is onsite. As an intern, you will gain practical experience through projects, perform tasks as directed and support ABB's operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support warehouse and fulfillment operations to ensure efficient material flow and order execution.
• Analyze operational data and develop reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with demand forecasting, inventory planning and supply chain performance tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on planning, logistics and customer delivery objectives.
• Maintain planning metrics, dashboards and inventory records to support decision-making.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy and service levels.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field at an accredited U.S. institution.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.

Required skills

• Critical thinking to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and handle several tasks at once with high quality.
• Team collaboration to share information and update project progress.

What we offer

• Expected pay of $20-$34 per hour, depending on qualifications, graduation year and experience.
• Onsite work in New Berlin, Wisconsin.
