Order Execution Intern

About the role

ABB is hiring an Order Execution Intern in New Berlin, Wisconsin, reporting to the Order Execution Manager. The intern gains practical experience through projects and supports ABB's operations while building their own education and employment opportunities. The work model is hybrid, and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the office and arrange their own commuting.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and supporting orders from receipt through fulfillment.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Planning and Logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order execution.
• Monitor order status, communicate updates and proactively resolve issues to deliver a good customer experience.
• Support demand, inventory and fulfillment planning to meet customer and business objectives.
• Analyze order and operational data to identify trends, improve processes and support decisions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that raise service levels, efficiency and on-time delivery.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field at an accredited U.S. institution.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.

• Pay of $20-$34 per hour, depending on qualifications, graduation year and experience.
