About the role
Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a Physician Biller, supporting patient billing and insurance processes within a leading health system. You will work closely with coding and credentialing teams to ensure accurate and timely claim submission.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients, families, and insurance carriers with billing inquiries.
- Process coding corrections, late charges, and identify inefficient claim edits.
- Review and resolve claims with missing information or self‑pay status.
- Follow up on denials and incorrectly paid claims using daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Document billing activity on patient encounters according to departmental standards.
Required profile
- High School Diploma/GED.
- At least 1 year of billing or health‑insurance experience in a physician practice.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of the revenue cycle process.
- Orientation toward patient and customer satisfaction.
