Physical Therapist – Outpatient Neurology

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist to join the outpatient neurology team at Florida Weston Hospital. This role involves providing patient‑first care, helping individuals improve strength, range of motion, endurance, and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Interpret physician plans, supervise patient treatments, and ensure patient safety and wellbeing.
• Review patient response to treatment and make recommendations to physicians regarding continuation or discontinuation of therapy.
• Document each patient visit according to departmental policies and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Provide appropriate billing for each patient visit and assist in training ancillary personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate from an APTA‑accredited Physical Therapy program (or related international degree).
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Internship experience; prior rehabilitation experience is preferred.
• Ability to work day/evening rotations (8:30 am–5:00 pm or 10:00 am–6:30 pm).
