Physical Therapist – Inpatient PRN (Weekend Days)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to join the inpatient team at Fairview Hospital on a PRN basis. You will work weekend days, providing therapeutic care that helps patients regain strength, range of motion, endurance, and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop, revise, and evaluate plans of care.
• Deliver physical therapy interventions using standard techniques appropriate to the patient’s age and condition.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support staff as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or certificate from an APTA‑accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including walking, climbing stairs, and lifting patients.

Required skills

• Physical therapy assessment and evaluation.
• Therapeutic exercise prescription.
• Plan of care development and documentation.
• Supervision of therapy assistants and students.
