Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) – Outpatient Clinic

About the role

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient therapy clinical team in Northwest, AR. The PTA works as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing direct patient care to individuals of all ages and monitoring their progress. This PRN position supports flexible staffing needs while delivering high‑quality rehabilitation services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the supervising physical therapist to implement therapeutic plans, delivering daily mobility and balance treatments.
• Prepare, operate, and sanitize physical therapy equipment in accordance with infection‑control standards.
• Document daily treatments and observations in patient progress notes and compile monthly performance summaries for the supervising therapist.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Applied Science in Physical Therapy.
• At least one year of PTA experience, or a new graduate with outpatient clinical experience.
• License or eligibility for Arkansas PTA licensure within 30 days of hire.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with staff, physicians, and patients.
• Excellent hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Preferred: background in neurologic disorder treatment, LSVT or PWR certification, and two years of PTA experience.
