Key responsibilities

• Perform animal handling, basic procedures, and genotyping.
• Conduct standard molecular biology techniques, cell culture maintenance, and experiments directed by the Principal Investigator.
• Supervise a laboratory group of students and staff, ensuring compliance with university, state, and federal safety guidelines.
• Train new employees and students in laboratory techniques and oversee laboratory operations and maintenance.

Required profile

• PhD in a bioscience or related field.
• Experience with animal studies, cell culture, and cardiovascular research preferred.

Required skills

• Animal handling and basic procedures.
• Genotyping and molecular biology (PCR, Western blot).
• Cell culture techniques.
• Flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and microscopy.
