Virtual Assistant

About the role

Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc. is seeking a full‑time Virtual Assistant to support healthcare operations across multiple locations. The role is remote and involves patient coordination, electronic health record management, scheduling, and telehealth support.

Key responsibilities

• Extract vaccine information from EHR systems and maintain accurate patient records.
• Schedule and track laboratory work, immunizations, referrals, and care requirements.
• Assist with telehealth registration, patient preparation, and basic triage support.
• Obtain pre‑certification authorization codes for diagnostic procedures when required.
• Update patient demographic information and perform clerical and clinical tasks through EHR task‑management systems.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patients.
