Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Health System’s Business Operations Center to provide hands‑on physical therapy assistance to patients in their homes across Greater Cleveland and Akron/Canton. You will work Monday‑Friday, supporting patients in Cuyahoga and Summit counties with evidence‑based therapeutic techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Administer patient‑centered physical therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Observe, communicate and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Plan, organize and implement individualized therapeutic programs with patients and families.
• Provide education on physical therapy topics to patients, caregivers, and community members.
• Act as a clinical instructor or participate in the education and evaluation of students.
• Serve as a resource for volunteers and observers.

Required profile

• Associate's Degree or certificate from an APTA‑accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Valid driver’s license with required insurance coverage for home care.
