Physical Therapist – Acute Care

About the role
Join Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital’s acute‑care team to provide patient‑centered physical therapy. You will work on a regular PRN schedule, supporting patients in regaining strength, mobility, and endurance.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
- Interpret physician plans, supervise patient treatments, and document each visit.
- Review patient response to therapy and make recommendations to physicians.
- Maintain equipment, manage supplies responsibly, and ensure proper billing.
- Assist in training ancillary personnel.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Internship experience; acute‑care experience preferred.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- State PT licensure.
- Knowledge of acute‑care physical therapy protocols.
