Physical Therapist – 13‑Week Travel Position on the Big Island

About the role

Join BAYADA Home Health Care for a 13‑week travel assignment as a Physical Therapist on Hawaii’s Big Island. You will provide home‑based rehabilitation services while enjoying the island’s unique lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic assessments including range of motion, strength, balance, and safety evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with manual therapy, gait training, and wound‑care interventions.
• Continuously reassess and update treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on safe mobility and independent living strategies.
• Document all observations and interventions using a tablet‑based electronic medical record system.

Required profile

• Current Physical Therapist license in Hawaii.
• Graduated from an APTA‑accredited PT program.
• Strong home‑health experience and proficiency with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) software.

Required skills

• Home Care Home Base (HCHB) proficiency.
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation on tablet devices.
