Pharmacy Technician - Sterile Compounding

About the role

The Pharmacy Technician – Sterile Compounding supports the preparation of infusion medications for home‑delivery patients as part of the Home Delivery pharmacy team. The role focuses on sterile compounding within a cleanroom environment, rotating between antibiotic and TPN hoods to prepare specialized infusion therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare sterile infusion medications in cleanroom hoods, including antibiotics and total‑parenteral nutrition.
• Label, repackage, and deliver compounded medications to appropriate storage locations in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate inventories, perform cycle counts and audits of medications and supplies.
• Document regulatory requirements such as temperature logs, scheduled activities, and training records.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA.
• Active registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday shifts with occasional weekend and holiday coverage.
