Pharmacy Clerk – Medication Packaging Specialist

About the role

Join divvyDOSE, a home‑delivery pharmacy focused on adherence packaging, as a Pharmacy Clerk. You will work with automated machinery to ensure medications are accurately packaged and shipped to customers, supporting pharmacists and delivering compassionate service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate automated equipment to pre‑sort, fill, and transition medication packs through dispensing, quality control, and shipping stages.
• Count, fill, and label prescription vials and bulk items, then pack and ship completed divvyPACKS with appropriate labeling.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA and act as a liaison between pharmacists and other medical professionals.
• Provide exemplary customer service to patients and caregivers, ensuring timely order processing.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
• Illinois State Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain within two years of employment).
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift/push/pull up to 50 lb, and handle small tablets with fingertips.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency and typing.
• Ability to use multiple software programs for medication order fulfillment.
• Knowledge of automated medication strip‑packing machines (preferred).
• Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, percentages).
