Pharmacist – Rotating Shift, Epic Experience Required

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our San Luis Obispo team on a rotating shift schedule. The role involves working in‑office with a focus on Epic and Cerner EMR systems, providing clinical pharmacy services, and supporting IV compounding operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate within 10‑hour and 8‑hour shift patterns covering weekdays and weekends.
• Perform IV compounding and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilize Epic and Cerner EMR systems for medication order entry and verification.
• Provide coverage as the closing pharmacist on call until morning opening.
• Collaborate with a team of 3‑4 technicians and fellow pharmacists.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Experience with Epic (required) and Cerner (preferred) EMR systems.
• One‑year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekend coverage.
