Manager, Trade & Distribution

About the role

The Manager, Trade & Distribution is the functional subject‑matter expert for DSCSA compliance and the primary point of contact for traceability systems across the U.S. supply chain. Reporting to the Senior Director, this role ensures right‑of‑sale, serialization integrity and optimal inventory levels throughout the 3PL and wholesale network.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business process owner for DSCSA compliance, managing transaction statements, serialization data exchange and traceability systems.
• Lead user acceptance testing for system upgrades, partner connectivity projects and cloud‑based serialization tools.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for FDA inspections and coordinate investigations of suspect products.
• Develop trade demand models, partner with analytics and supply‑chain teams to drive the monthly S&OP process and forecast inventory needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in supply chain, healthcare administration or IT preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, trade operations or regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of DSCSA 2023 interoperability, ATP requirements and drop‑ship distribution models.
