Pharmacist – Cancer Center Clinic Role

About the role
Join the Cancer Center clinic at Froedtert West Bend Hospital as a full‑time Pharmacist. You will work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑4:30 pm, with rotating holidays and no weekend shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Promote safe, effective, and cost‑conscious medication use for oncology patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication therapy issues.
- Maintain compliance with the department’s quality‑improvement plan and Joint Commission/Medicare standards.
- Provide patient counseling and education on medication regimens.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience (or 3 years in another pharmacy setting).
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an ACPE‑accredited program.
- Active Wisconsin pharmacist license (or eligibility within 6 months).
- Preferred: ASHP‑accredited PGY‑1 or specialty residency; membership in PSW and/or ASHP.
Required skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
