Personal Support Assistant – Habilitation Technician

About the role

Join the Kauai Habilitation Team as a Personal Support Assistant, helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve greater independence in the community. This part‑time position offers a $1,000 sign‑on bonus and a supportive environment on beautiful Kauai.

Key responsibilities

• Build one‑on‑one relationships with clients for a few hours each week.
• Engage clients in favorite hobbies and activities such as Special Olympics.
• Support clients in budgeting, socializing, shopping, using public transportation, and exercising.
• Ensure client safety and well‑being at home and in the community.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Passion for supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Patience, empathy, and dedication.
