About the role
Join BAYADA's Maui Habilitation Team as a Personal Support Assistant, providing one‑on‑one companionship and community‑based support to individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Support clients in their homes and during community outings.
- Assist with life‑skill development, social activities, and personal goal achievement.
- Promote independence through shopping, budgeting, exercise, and other community activities.
- Build meaningful relationships while ensuring dignity, inclusion, and safety.
Required profile
- Age 18 or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation for community outings.
- Compassion, patience, and dependability.
- Ability to read and write in English.
