About the role
Join BAYADA as a Home Health Aide and provide compassionate personal care to adults living at home in Asheville. You will support daily living activities while receiving training, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team.
Key responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, and other activities of daily living.
- Provide household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
- Prepare meals, feed clients, and offer medication reminders.
- Help with range‑of‑motion exercises, ambulation, and safe transfers using mechanical lifting devices.
Required profile
- Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
- Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, reliable care.
