People & Culture Business Partner – Retail (US)

About the role

The People & Culture Business Partner will act as a strategic HR partner for ARC’TERYX retail leaders in the NY/Tri‑State region. Based in the NYC area, you will help shape people strategies that drive high‑performance teams and support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR business partner to retail leaders in the US‑NY/Tri‑State region.
• Develop and implement people strategies that attract, retain, and develop talent.
• Provide coaching on talent identification, succession planning, performance management, workforce planning, learning & development, and employee relations.
• Analyze people data and business trends to recommend improvements and align priorities.
• Lead and champion companywide HR programs such as performance reviews, employee engagement surveys, and talent reviews.
• Partner on organizational design, interim role programs, and stretch‑assignment initiatives.
• Conduct store and market visits to represent HR insights and data.

Required profile

• Based in the NYC area with ability to travel up to 25% to regional stores.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in retail or hospitality.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience translating analytics into actionable HR solutions.
