About the role
The Pediatric Sleep Medicine Physician provides expert evaluation and treatment for pediatric patients with sleep disorders within the Lehigh Valley Health Network. This role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with LVHN medical staff bylaws and policies.
- Supervise Advanced Practice Clinicians, physicians, residents, fellows and medical students as needed.
- Document and code all patient visits accurately in the EMR, following compliance standards.
- Monitor patient satisfaction scores and work with leadership to improve the patient experience.
- Promote community health and participate in LVHN activities and quality initiatives.
Required profile
- Medical degree from an accredited program.
- PA medical license for the State of Pennsylvania upon hire.
- Maintain LVHN medical staff privileges and licensure.
- Ability to coordinate patient care efficiently with LVHN staff and representatives.
Required skills
- Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- PA license – State of Pennsylvania.
- Proficiency with EMR technology for documentation and coding.
