Pediatric Emergency Department RN – Night Shift

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its 24/7 Pediatric Emergency Department on a part‑time night schedule (7:00 pm – 7:30 am). You will provide direct nursing care to children in a child‑friendly environment, supporting board‑certified physicians and specialized units such as the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care, administer medications, and perform treatments according to physician orders.
• Develop, monitor, and update patient care plans, documenting patient conditions and communicating changes to the care team.
• Assess discharge needs, coordinate follow‑up care, and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program with current RN licensure.
• Minimum one year of acute care RN experience (or military RN experience).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) upon hire or within 24 months; PALS certification within one year of hire.
